This was a beautiful port. We disembarked and took a gentle (as always) walk around the town. We found a small park for the children and apparently Lela to play in. It is always great to find a park in port as it gives the children the freedom to run around which isn’t available on the ship.
They had some trampolines which were sunk into the ground which although may not seem like a big thing, were super bouncy as demonstrated.
Nordfjordeid had the most beautiful beach, with the most stunning backdrop. It was weird the scenery almost felt like being on a green screen and it was shocking to think we were actually in that surrounding.
They had a viking museum with a viking ship but it was expensive (as was everything in Norway) for what it was so we chose not to do that. In all honesty we were just happy being in Norway, taking things at a leisurely pace, being surrounded by the picturesque scenery.
We spent a few hours just walking around here before heading back to the ship. Again this was docked in the most picturesque of places.
Although it doesn’t appear that we did much in Nordfjordeid, we loved it here. It was so peaceful and calm and great for a few hours before we enjoyed the ship some more.
